The Kings Chorale Children’s Chorus and the Annapolis Valley Honour Choirs will be combining to present their upcoming holiday concert,“Gaudeamus”.
A variety of music will be performed by the choirs with classical compositions, folk arrangements, spirituals and some Christmas themed music to put you in the holiday spirit!
The choirs will also perform together and there will be carols for the whole audience to join in the music making.
Join us for a wonderful celebration of music with these talented young singers in grades 2 through 12!
The Kings Chorale Children’s Chorus is a 40 voice children’s choir with singers ranging from grades 2 to 8 from across the valley. The choir focuses on developing a love for choral music and exposing singers to early vocal development and singing as a group in a cooperative and supportive way, sharing together in the joy of music making! Shannon Young is the long time conductor.
The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir is one of Atlantic Canada’s leading youth choir organizations with a national reputation for excellence. It is an instructional music program for students in grades 5 through 12 throughout the valley, conducted by Heather Fraser. It emphasizes musical and vocal training through choral music and exists to enrich the artistic lives of its members, their families and communities.

Pricing: Tickets are $15 and $5 (students). Children under five are free.
