"Looking Back to Move Forward: Reflections on Martin Luther King's Dream and Contemporary Experiences of Racism in Today's Society"
The observance of Martin Luther King's birthday will be an opportunity for participants to reflect on the current state of racism and race relations in our society, within the context of King's dream.
Following a keynote address by Dr. Bernard, participants will discuss global and local issues and identify strategies for moving forward.
This session is presented by The Race Relations & Anti-Discrimination Committee of the Municipality of the County of Kings in partnership with Acadia University.
