The Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre and 14 Wing Greenwood are hosting an International Women’s Day event. The event will consist of an empowering and educational presentation by four inspirational women of our greater community. Each presenter will discuss their own road to success and share their stories of strength, resilience and perseverance.
We welcome Dr. Wanda Thomas-Bernard, Professor of Social Work at Dalhousie University and Chair of the Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women; Pamela Streeter, Executive Director of Birch Hills Academy and 2014 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards Regional Finalist; Sgt Lelah Naas and Sgt Dianne Lambert with the Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre; Sandra MacDonald, a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces. This event is FREE and open to ALL THE COMMUNITY.
