The 6th April Flavours Dinner and Auction. The sit-down dinner is being arranged by the April Flavours Committee and Executive Chef Jake Wright. Many Chefs will be preparing delicious food for the dinner - watch for the complete menu to be announced! The evening will begin with wine sampling while guests place bids on silent auction items, and prior to dessert there will be a live auction. Over $6,000 worth of fabulous new live and silent auction items including tours, accommodations, dinners, home décor, play ground equipment and many additional items will be available.
April Flavours Dinner and Auction is put on by the Friends of Agriculture in Nova Scotia (FANS) to raise awareness of outstanding local Chefs and as a fundraiser to support educational activities by local agricultural organizations. FANS promotes farmers and food producers and chefs who are contributing to healthy fields, farms and food for the people and communities of Nova Scotia now and in the future.
