Tom Terrell is celebrating his debut, self titled album; a record of beautiful blue songs, written through the seeing eyes of the archetypal rambler. Terrell sings, all gravel and gravity, in a style reminiscent of the vintage voices of the past. Well versed in Old time, country, blues, bluegrass and in turn an array of folk music, Terrell’s influences range from Tom Waits, John Prine & Greg Brown to Hank Williams, Mississippi John Hurt, Oscar Peterson and Beethoven.
Born and bred on the west coast of Canada and rooted in Nova Scotia since 2009, Tom has spent the better part of the last 10 years on the road, traveling and playing music in Canada, the USA, Ireland, the UK, Mexico and India. Drawing from a deep well of timeless vintage and modern musical and lyrical styles Terrell produces a flavour all his own; Modern and nostalgic, refined yet organic, chaotic but soothing.
Tom Terrell has garnered an impressive amount of acclaim as the singer/songwriter and guitar player with Canadian roots supergroup, The Modern Grass. Terrell, along with his co-producer Karl Falkenham, was recently awarded Producer of the Year at the 2014 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Folk-Noir balladeer Rachel Sermanni is on the road again, anticipating the release of her new studio Album, Tied To The Moon.
Tied to the Moon’ features songs that channel spirits of all ages and archetypes, weaving images of childhood, womanhood, of instinct and inhibition. An indefinable mix of songs, music reminiscent of classics such as Eva Cassidy & Joni Mitchell, with quirks of Bjork, Tom Waits, PJ Harvey and of course a hint of the traditional music that continues to inspire Sermanni.
Rachel, age 23, has toured extensively across the world since 2011 making her a young veteran on the gig circuit. In the past 4 years she has appeared, in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, Iceland and across Europe, making appearances at some of the most revered festivals on the planet including Greenman, Cambridge Folk Fest, Orkney Folk Fest, Belladrum, T In the Park, Wickerman, Deershed, Loopallu, Calgary Folk Fest, CMW, Dawson City Music festival, Interstellar Rodeo, Vancouver Folk Fest, Woodford Folk Fest and Iceland Airwaves. PRS announced her one of the UK’s hardest working musicians of 2011.
Sermanni is well respected around the globe as a top notch singer and songwriter, known for her ability to captivate and inspire audiences. Rachel brought in 2014 singing a traditional scottish folk song to a silent, candlelit crowd of over 10,000 people last year at The Woodford Folk Festival. Over the years Rachel has supported many marvels including John Grant, Fink, KT Tunstall, Stornoway, Rumer, Mumford and Sons, Ron Sexsmith and Elvis Costello.
In 2010 Sermanni travelled to the Middle East for a performance project merging Scottish Traditional music & musicians with the traditional music & musicians of Jordan. in 2011 took part in a collaborative project with Indian traditional and Bollywood superstars, Bikram Ghosh and Papon Angaraag Mahanta, touring India and writing an EP, yet to be released.
Rachel Sermanni has an impressive musical and professional resume, a swath of EP’s recorded all over the world, and two full length albums, including one live album that was recorded at Dawson City Music Festival.
Sermanni’s newest release, Tied To The Moon, was recorded in the Highlands of Scotland and sees Rachel digging deep and offering a darker and more rhythmic flavour of poetry and music.
