Pete Luckett and Chef Michael Howell celebrate fresh local food and the success of the Buy Local Challenge with a Fresh and Fun cooking demo at the Wolfville Farmers' Market. Featuring food gathered from market vendors, the cooking demo will take place at the Info Booth.
To help the Market celebrate reaching its goal of signing on 100 participants in half the expected time, all Buy Local Challenge participants who have signed on before noon, will be eligible to win $200 in prizes from Select Nova Scotia and the Wolfville Farmers' Market. Anyone can sign on to the Buy Local Challenge at the Info Booth any Saturday in 2009.
