A Benefit Concert is being held for Lovis, a three-year old girl from Gaspereau recently diagnosed with DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), a rare and extremely aggressive brain stem cancer.
The Concert features Valley musicians: Heather Kelday, Sarah Pound, Daniel Heikalo, Cathy Arsenault and Kate Adams, Swing 42, as well as writer Sophie Berube, Dancer/Choreographer Tracy Fritz Nasson AND welcomes special guest vocalist Coco Love Alcorn-fresh from the Jazz Festival in Halifax.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for tickets and to our silent auction where a variety of great items have been donated including a romantic couples getaway with overnight stay at the Olde Lantern Inn B&B, in-room massage and dinner at Le Caveau; TWO Between the Vines all-day winery tours for 2; and generous gift baskets including a couple from wineries, as well as CD's from our musician performers. ALL proceeds will go to the family, to help offset the cost of Lovis' medication, treatments and care. Please help us support this local family!
