The Annapolis Valley African Violet Society welcomes anyone interested in growing African violets or related gesneriad houseplants (like streptocarpus, sinningia, episcia, primulina, kohleria, achimines, aeschynanthus, etc.) to attend their opening meeting of the season in the upstairs community room of Sobeys Greenwood. Paul Despres will give a presentation on the African violet computer database First Class. Our meeting includes a leaf draw where members share leaves of new and exciting plants not commonly available in stores.
