Middleton's streets will be teeming with familiar Harry Potter characters and probably some Muggles, all descending on the MacDonald Museum on School Street for a night of Haunted Hogwarts.
Work is underway on converting the museum into the familiar Hogwarts, with a Hallowe'en twist.
The event, organized by Middleton Recreation, is being held on Friday, October 30th from 6pm to 9pm. The museum will feature multi-levels of shocks and surprises including a first floor room dedicated to the wee ones, run by Family Matters (between 6pm and 8pm), which will offer fun activities and a magician (6:30-7:30pm).
Guides will conduct those who are brave enough, up the creeky stairs to the 9 3/4 Platform, and thence to the upper reaches of Hogwarts for an experience beyond imagination.
Harry Potter themed costumes are encouraged.
This is a FREE event but donations to the MacDonald Museum are welcomed.
