SPEAKER: L’Arche Homefires – Devon Edmonds
Come join us to hear Devon Edmonds and two of her counterparts from L’Arche who are passionate about the mission of L’Arche and will be offering a dynamic presentation about their varied experience with L’Arche Homefires. They promise to capture our attention with stories, photos and video.
The Newcomers’ Club welcomes all residents of the Annapolis Valley. You don’t have to be a newcomer to come to the meetings or to join the group: long-time residents are welcome too! Bring your favourite small coffee cup and enjoy fresh perked coffee and a sweet treat.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Wolfville Farmers’ Market Building, and are open to the public. They feature informative speakers on topics of local interest. Members can participate in the many interest groups, from biking to gourmet cooking and theatre-going. This is a great place to meet new people, learn about the area, and forge a sense of community.
