SPEAKERS: Wendi Stewart and David Mossman

Two popular Wolfville writers join our meeting this evening, Wendi Stewart, author of "Meadow Lark," and David Mossman, author of "Going Over, A Nova Scotia Soldier in WW1." We expect a lively question and answer session after each presentation.

The Newcomers’ Club welcomes all residents of the Annapolis Valley. You don’t have to be a newcomer to come to the meetings or to join the group: long-time residents are welcome too! Bring your favourite small coffee cup and enjoy fresh perked coffee and a sweet treat.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Wolfville Farmers’ Market Building, and are open to the public. They feature informative speakers on topics of local interest. Members can participate in the many interest groups, from biking to gourmet cooking and theatre-going. This is a great place to meet new people, learn about the area, and forge a sense of community.
