The second series is called "Who is My Muslim Neighbour?" As we welcome Muslim refugees and immigrants into our communities here in Atlantic Canada, what do we need to know so that we can be hospitable and sensitive toward our new neighbours? Guest speakers will include Dr. Jamie Whidden of Acadia University, and Imam Hamza Mangera of Halifax. Topics explored will include "the politics of – and a history of immigration from - the Middle East," "the faith of Islam," and "cultural adaptations to life in Canada."
