Named one of CBC Music’s 2015 “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30”, the Cheng² Duo is comprised of cellist Bryan Cheng and pianist Silvie Cheng, both top prizewinners of national competitions. This sibling duo has brought treasured masterworks to prestigious concert halls and festivals on three continents including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, Aspen Music Festival, Trasimeno Music Festival, Ottawa Chamberfest, and Festival of the Sound, among others. Captivating audiences and critics alike with their youthful spirit and artistic maturity, the Cheng² Duo has been featured on CBC Radio and Vermont Public Radio and recorded its debut album in Berlin in February 2016.
