Stunning. Epic. Unforgettable — Beethoven’s 7th is one of the most popular symphonies of all time. Hear Symphony Nova Scotia perform this alongside Prokofiev’s colourful and demanding Concerto no. 2, featuring concertmaster Renaud Lapierre. Beethoven himself conducted the premiere performance of his Seventh Symphony in 1813. The audience’s ovation after the second movement was so enthusiastic, the orchestra played it twice!
