In 1897, the Town of Windsor was virtually destroyed by fire. Windsor rebuilt through the generosity of people from across Canada and throughout the eastern seaboard.

In May, 2016, wild fires devastated Fort McMurray. This Sunday, Father's day, our community is invited to come together and celebrate family and help raise funds for those who have been displaced.

The Town of Windsor, the Windsor and District Lions Club, the Windsor Fire Department and its veterans, are asking YOU to come and support the Red Cross and the Fort McMurray Lions Club. There are people within our greater community who have been impacted by the Alberta Wildfires.

Show Dad you care...take him to the Lions Club Brunch...purchase some tickets on great prizes in the ticket auctions. Listen to the music of the Fretnotes and the John Geddes Band. Kids, check out some of the WFD fire equipment...but most of all...leave a small donation that will go to our Canadian family in Alberta.
