The Market will be awash in colour lights for our Diwali Market and Community Supper Celebration!  Many of our vendors will feature Indian-inspired food! Some highlights of the evening: a special Diwali craft for the kids and everyone who gets a Market Supper will be able to try Gulab Jamun, a special Indian dessert, thanks to Vijay of Taj Mahal Catering!  

Diwali Menu:

  • Fez Cafe:  Biryana Chicken with Bisi Bele (rice, lentil and vegetables) and Batata Vada (spiced potatoes)
  • Frais Catering: Aloo Bhaji (spiced potatoes)

  • Foxhill Cheese House: Mango Gelato

  • Gold Island Bakery: Spiced Rye with Cumin and Coriander

  • Harbourville Schnitzelhaus: Chicken Tikka Masala (with rice and naan bread)

  • Jayn & T’s Fine Food: Red Lentil Dahl

  • Julian’s Feel Good Food:  Curried Lamb Meatballs baked with Yoghurt Sauce and Basmati Rice

  • Privet House:  Butter Chicken

  • Taj Mahal Catering:

    -Regular Thali and Diwali Special Thali (Combo plate)

    -Nurgisi Kofta (Nargisi kofta is boiled eggs stuffed inside a shell of ground lamb in Curry gravy served with Spinach Naan and Basmati Rice)

    -Saag Paneer (Saag Paneer is leafy green and marinated cheese in Curry served with Naan and Basmati Rice)

    -Gulab Jaman and

    -Laddu
