This year the Annapolis Valley African Violet Society's annual Show and Sale is entitled "Bay of Fundy violets". This always spectacular floral exhibit features an impressive display of African Violets and other lesser known gesneriads such as streptocarpus, sinningias, episcias, kohlerias etc. ranging from vintage favourites and species to the latest stunning hybrids. The sales table will offer visitors the opportunity to purchase plants or leaves. Free educational material with advice on propagation and growing is always available. The Show is affiliated to both the African Violet Society of Canada and the African Violet Society of America.
