Join us for the Acadia University Chorus' annual Spring Concert at Convocation Hall.
This year, in recognition of the 100-year anniversary of the Halifax Explosion, our concert will explore the topic of remembrance and reminiscence both for loved ones lost and for a nostalgic look back at earlier, simpler times.
Featuring music by Jefferey Ames, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Nigel Short and David Langstroth. The concert will culminate with a performance of the ever popular Requiem by John Rutter.
The concert will feature Acadia School of Music faculty Tristan de Borba, Jack Chen and John Scott. Acadia grad India Gailey will join us on cello. In addition, student soloists will round out the group.
We invite you to join us for what will be a beautiful afternoon of choral music.
