After more than 20 years of entertaining Valley residents, the Shiretown Singers, directed by MaDonna MacDonald, is presenting its Finale Concerts, and will not be performing again. The 28 person choir combines four part harmonies, piano, guitar and percussion which provides a sound that has been a favourite with generations of fans in the area. Funds raised from Spring concerts each year are shared with the Annapolis Valley Music Festival.
Our Finale Concerts will feature song favourites and sing-a-long tunes including medleys of Mama Mia and Rock & Roll music. Our repertoire will also include emotional numbers like The Rose and Endless Love, and The Lion Sleeps Tonight, as well as memorable songs like Get A Job, Sixteen Tons and Blowin’ in the Wind, to name a few. Let us entertain you with great selections from 4 different genres.
