ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Guest Speaker Ben Cleveland
Ben will speak of some the challenges and opportunities facing Digby, Tall Ships and three reasons why Tourism is the purest form of Economic development.
Ben Cleveland has been a lifelong resident of Digby and been involved in the Financial Services Industry for the last 40 years. Married to Karen, they have two children Bethany and Sarah, Ben been involved in many local community groups, the Digby Fire Dept, the Boys and Girls Club, the Local CBDC and more. Elected to Town Council in 2006, becoming Mayor in 2008 and is currently serving his third term. Recognizing there are challenges but there are many opportunities in rural communities Ben continues promote Digby provincially, nationally and internationally.
