The Union Street is pleased to welcome Mike Aubé to our stage for Free Music Friday!
Mike Aubé is an alt-folk songwriter on a mission to “comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”. Like Woody and Arlo Guthrie before him, he blends humour, a sense of social justice and a love of nature into what Canadian Musician Magazine called “playful and catchy folk…clearly Canadian”. With a “voice of smoke and honey”, a rhythmic guitar style and an easy stage presence, Mike is one of Nova Scotia’s finest performing songwriters. He has shared the stage with some of the best in Atlantic Canada, including Dave Gunning, Rose Cousins, Kev Corbett and The Hupman Brothers Band.

On every Friday night that we do not already have a ticketed show on the schedule, we will be presenting some of the finest singers, songwriters and bands, from Nova Scotia and beyond, in concert FOR FREE!
That's right - No Cover Charge!
There will be two sets of music starting at 8-ish.
(Start times may vary from week to week. We will post it on the event page when it is certain.)
