Join us to explore behind the scenes and experience some of the artefacts not regularly on display. Interpreters will be on hand to answer questions and manipulate artifacts. Visitors move from room to room at their own speed. Refreshments provided.
This years themes are:
Killer Clothing – Clothing, artefacts, and information on poisonous dyes, hobbling shoes, hoopskirt fires, corset injuries and why walking sticks became fashionable.
Tiny Treasures- A selection of small items from the house, primarily from attic storage boxes.
Best of Books – Open the Gothic book case and view some of the old books, including an 1800’s phone book.
