WOLFVILLE & AREA NEWCOMERS’ CLUB
Monthly meeting
Guest Speaker: MAYNARD STEVENS
You've seen him in the mall...dressed as the Easter Bunny....who knows...maybe you've sat your grandchildren on his lap when he is Santa Claus..he loves to dress up for the occasion...and he's back...by popular demand...our Ghost Speaker Maynard Stevens You will remember how he spoke of the haunting at Acadia University and of the night that he felt spooked at the Kentville Museum...well now he has a fresh story to tell. So come one, come all and be prepared to heighten your Halloween experience...hoo hoo hoo hoo!
The Newcomers’ Club welcomes all residents of the Annapolis Valley. You don’t have to be a newcomer to come to the meetings or to join the group: long-time residents are welcome too! Bring your favourite small coffee cup and enjoy fresh perked coffee and a sweet treat.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Wolfville Farmers’ Market Building, and are open to the public. They feature informative speakers on topics of local interest. Members can participate in the many interest groups such as off-road biking, gourmet dining and bridge. This is a great place to meet new people, learn about the area, and forge a sense of community.
