Shattering the Silence Concert 7

This is the official presentation of the Canadian premiere of David Lang’s 2008 Pulitzer Prize winning work “The Little Match Girl Passion”. Written as a Carnegie Hall commission, this work tells this well known story as a kind of parable, drawing a religious and moral equivalency between the suffering of the poor girl and the suffering of Jesus.
