Celebrate the second ever Fire & Ice Gala evening showcasing local Nova Scotia wine, beer and culinary experiences. Check out award-winning local wines, fantastic ice sculptures, music and award-winning NSCC student chefs. The NSCC-Kingstec campus will be transformed into a Fire and Ice wonderland. Net proceeds fund significant Clean Drinking Water initiatives in developing countries. This event has provided funding to sponsor lifetime Clean Drinking Water to over 400 people. Turn wine into water!
The food for the evening is being prepared by the students of the Culinary Arts Program. The menu for the evening will be the same menu items being prepared by the Kingstec students at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver in February (please see menu below).
Rotary Club of New Minas & Nova Scotia Winter Icewine Festival
• Hosted in partnership by Rotary Club of New Minas and Nova Scotia Community College – Kingstec Campus
• We are expecting up to 450 guests for the Gala Event!
• The Culinary Arts students will be showcasing food and wine pairings as well as the Acadia Music program will be hosting a multitude of musical stations throughout the night
