Stop at the Demonstration Booth beside the Market Info Booth where we will be launching “Market Fresh for Families”, featuring a Parsnip and Apple Casserole and a Hearty Leek Soup. This new demonstration series, being run by students from the Acadia School of Nutrition and Dietetics, will be offered monthly to demonstrate recipes that promote local fruits and vegetables. You can also pick up handouts available that will include recipes, fun facts, cooking tips, strategies to make the foods appealing for children and grocery lists indicating what can be purchased at the Market. The students are very excited to become involved with the Market and look forward to meeting everyone!
