On August 9th the Wolfville Farmers' Market presents Fruit and Veggie Passports and an Amazing Market Race

Event: Amazing Market Race (Aug 9)
Fruit and Veggie Passports:
Pick up your Fruit & Veggie Passport at the Market Info Booth and embark on a delicious journey from one produce destination to another.
Each produce vendor has selected a specialty product they are proud to feature! With passport in hand, visit your Market Produce Farmers and purchase these specialty products as a way to learn more about what is being offered locally and by whom.
* Embark on your journey at the Market Info Booth by picking up your passport and getting your questions answered.
* Get your bearings and taste-test the featured Fruit &Veggies right there at the Market Info Booth.
* Pick your course by deciding which products you want to take home.
* Travel the market at your own pace and in your own way.
* Once you have purchased a minimum of 5 featured fruit or veggies, bring your passport to the Market Info Booth to get it stamped and submitted.
* The first 35 people across the finish line will win a Select NS canvass bag or apron. And all who cross the finish line with a stamped passport by 12:30 pm will have an opportunity to win a canvass bag heaped full of Market Fruit and Veggies.
Zucchini Races:
At the same time another race will be ongoing. Is it a boat, a plane no it’s a ….zucchini car. Buy a zucchini and you will be given axles, wheels and non-toxic paint to create a zucchini car to take home. But before you do, race it on the Market Track. Get your zucchini car-making package at the Market Info Booth. Races running from 10am-noon.
