Join us for a summer read in the cold month of February! The Woman Who Walked In Sunshine by Alexander McCall Smith. In this book, there is also an unforgettable metaphor. Mma Ramotswe compares basking in the love of her husband to walking in sunshine. Love is a big topic in this book, and it's handled with a delicate touch and without undue sentimentality. The plot is tricky in that appearances sometimes deceive. The plot twists come from unexpected directions. For all these reasons, I'd rank The Woman Who Walked in Sunshine among the best of these quirky Botswana mysteries.
