Bob is a musician from Digby. He formed his first band at age fourteen called Bob Marshall & The Spartans, playing rock n’ roll. In high school he formed a group known as Sir Robert Norman & The Lords, and later The D-Jays. When
out of high school Bob and friends formed the band, The Purple Candle Secret, playing classic rock travelling throughout Nova Scotia in a converted school bus
that they painted purple. Over the years Bob has played drums, guitar & lead vocals and travelled throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario. Quebec & Florida.
Various groups Bob has been in include: Dutch Mason, The Last Chance Band, The Rockets, The Jukebox Junkies, Shango, Roadhouse & Adam’s Apple.
Bob presently plays as an electric acoustic solo act preforming classic rock, classic country & rock n’ roll. This past year Bob has now also formed a group known as
Bob Marshall & The Basin Street Blues Band, a four piece band playing, uptempo Chicago blues and a touch of rock n’ roll.
