Our Guest speaker will be a naturalist, from Ministry of Natural Resources to talk about wildlife in Nova Scotia and harbingers of Spring. Nature is waking up and many of us are getting ready to hike and bike the trails. Look around and see creatures great and small that you may take for granted.
The Newcomers’ Club welcomes all residents of the Annapolis Valley. You don’t have to be a newcomer or a Wolfville resident to come to the meetings or to join the group: long-time residents are welcome too! BRING YOUR FAVOURITE SMALL COFFEE CUP and enjoy fresh perked coffee and a sweet treat.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Wolfville Farmers’ Market Building, and are open to the public. They feature informative speakers on topics of local interest. Members can participate in the many interest groups such as needlework, book club, off-road biking, hiking, snowshoeing, Food &Fun, gourmet dining and bridge. This is a great place to meet new people, learn about the area, and forge a sense of community. Visit our website to learn more.
