Meet you at the North Mountain Market! Sneak out and catch the morning's pickings!
Come and support the growers of local fruits, vegetables, berries, plants, fresh, locally-produced baked goods, preserved and prepared foods, fresh, locally-roasted coffee, fresh fish, and a wide variety of arts and crafts by local artists and artisans.
The fresh produce sold at the North Mountain Market travels less that 30 km to get to you. Compare this to the average North American meal, which travels 2,400 km to get from field to plate and contains ingredients from 5 countries in addition to our own. All that transportation results in a lot of fossil fuels being burned, which contributes to air pollution, acid rain and climate change.
Special this Week!
• United Tapestry Fundraising Barbeque
• Live Music: Andy Kavanagh
• Creative Workshop “Learn to Rug Hook” by: Jackie MacPhee
Also available at the same location:
• Coffee Shop
• Artisan Show
• Eco-museum
• Fantastic View of the Bay of Fundy
• Priceless Fresh Sea Air
Enjoy a cup of North Mountain roasted coffee and a freshly baked sweet. Wander through the heritage and interactive fibre arts exhibits. Enjoy the “re-purposed church pew” shelves featuring some of the finest North Mountain and Valley artists and artisans.
Come smile with a farmer you've gotten to know. We can't wait to see everyone again!
