Nova Scotia Native Flora in Art, opens May 18, 2018, 10 am to 4 pm in the foyer of the K.C. Irving Environmental Sciences Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens. The show continues daily until June 1. Our regional show and the Canadian national show is part of a simultaneous worldwide art exhibition opening around the world on May 18, 2018. We invite people to take part in Botanical Art Worldwide-Linking People with Plants through Botanical Art. This is a global initiative uniting botanical art organizations and cultural institutions on six continents. Worldwide Day of Botanical Art is May 18, 2018 and we encourage everyone to join us in celebration of the glorious diversity of plant life on earth.
