This Year Marks the 10th anniversary of the AVGVG Glad Gardens Weigh Off. Competitions will include a wide variety of Giant Vegetables such as Giant Pumpkins & Squash , Heaviest Cabbage and Turnip to Tallest Sunflower and Corn Stalk and many more (22 categories in all ). As always there will be many activities such as games for the children, pumpkin decorating, concession stand. Admission to the event is free with ample parking and washroom facilities on site. Everyone is welcome to come out and view the tremendous accomplishments that have been achieved by Atlantic Canadian gardeners or bring along something from your own garden and compete.
