Across Canada, Seedy Saturday events are ‘springing’ up everywhere, as winter-weary gardeners turn their thoughts and activities to dreams of summer gardens... What better way to celebrate spring than a morning of seeds, plants, seed vendors, gardeners, seed exchange, and inspiration!

Workshop Series
* 10 – 10:30am “Starting and Saving Seeds” with Fred Chipman, Wolfville Gardening Club
* 10:30 – 11am “Three Sisters: Saving Bean, Corn, and Squash Seeds” with Michelle Fike, Pumpkin Moon Farm
* 11 – 11:30am “Community Gardening in Wolfville” with Heather MacArthur & Dewey Dunnington, Acadia Farm
* 11:30am – 12:15pm “The Story of Food: Film and Discussion” with Av Singh, AgraPoint
There is no charge for any of the activities or workshops!
There will be gardening workshops, seed planting demonstrations, free take-home plantings, seed vendors, seed catalogs and a good dose of excitement about the season to come! Whether you want to plant a few pots on your balcony, or plant the back 40, there will be something for every gardener and farmer, young and old, new and seasoned, big and small.
