It’s high tide on the Bay of Funky! Two nights of entertainment for the price of one! As an annual fundraiser for the Evergreen, the folks at TFO are offering both nights for the single ticket price. Can’t decide which night to attend? Come to both and let the Tidal Funk Orchestra do the rest!
Friday night Funk - the TFO comes out with horns blaring. A feel-good mixture of R&B, jazz, and yes… the elusive tidal funk!
Saturday night - back to the roots! The TFO rocks the house with tribal jams, original tunes and the free flow of improvisation.
The Tidal Funk Orchestra is: Richard Bennett (keys, trumpet), Jim Butt (drums, vocals), Roger Ellis ( vocals, guitar, percussion), Tim Fancey (bass), Nat Fulton (washtub, jaw harp and percussion), John Gillies (mandolin, slide guitar, trumpet), Mike Lethbridge (digereedoo), Steve Parsons (guitar,vocals, percusssion), Mark Towers (saxophone).
