Presented by Avon River Arts (formerly the Hants County Arts Council), Artisans in Action is a series of pop-up shows and demonstrations showcasing Nova Scotian artists and artisans, taking place the first Sunday of the month at the Avon River Heritage museum in historic Newport Landing.
We invite artists and makers working in all types of mediums and styles to join us so that the majestic Avon River and local landscape can serve as their creative inspiration for an afternoon. The Avon Spirit Shipyard is transformed into a gallery for the day and artists set-up throughout the museum and waterfront to create live on site.
