Join us this Sunday for Artisans in Action, a pop-up show where local fibre artist Magdalena Percy of Foggy Hollow Creations will be on site explaining and demonstrating how she makes her exquisite one of a kind needle felted art dolls.
Magdalena’s lifelong passion to create has led her to express her imagination in a variety of mediums; drawing, painting, calligraphy, sewing, sculpting. Always curious to learn about new techniques and materials and explore new art forms her most recent expressions come in the form of whimsical, quirky, playful needle felted wool sculptures. These beguiling inhabitants of the enchanted Foggy Hollow are one of a kind art dolls made of natural roving and dyed wool fibres.
This event, part of the Avon River Days festivities, is held rain or shine and is open free to the public.
