Stop by the Blue Cottage for art making. Bring supplies of your favourite medium to capture the charms of this fairy like cottage, built during the Great Depression era by local concrete architect and artist, Charles Macdonald.

Bring:
- Art supplies of your favourite medium. In the past, we have even had someone who knit the cottage!
- A chair or blanket to sit on as you work. Artists will be situated on the lawn around Blue Cottage to capture its charming facade.
- A picnic if you so desire! Light refreshments will be offered as well.

We are excited to see your creativity flow! All those who participate will be entered in a random draw to win a weekend at the Blue Cottage in October.

Please note: this is an outdoor event, so be mindful of sun and potential cloud or even rain for this! As of now, the weather looks promising for the particular dates but of course, we can't guarantee anything.

Directions:
Take Highway 359 to Halls Harbour. Drive down the hill, around the harbour and up the winding hill to the top. Turn right on Simpson Road and drive approx 2km to the end. Turn right and down the winding hill 100 meters to the Blue Cottage, second on the right. Please park in the lot at the beach.
