You are invited to participate in the Landscape of Cultures Festival which will feature Mi’kmaw, Acadian and Local talent.
The festival will be launched at the Glooscap First Nation.

There will be storytelling at 5:00 p.m. where you will discover very old Mi’kmaw legends.

The official opening will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will include the Sungun Drumming Group and Nathan Sack and community dancers. At 7:00 p.m. Chef Ken will serve traditional food tastings.

There will be no entry fee for the day.

Activities will begin at noon with music, children’s activities and authentic cultural experiences.

There will be a panel discussion presenting multiple perspectives about the Landscape of Grand-Pré, storytelling and a Peace Circle.

A barbecue will be served on site.

Grand-Pré Under the Stars will begin at 8:30 p.m. featuring Mi’kmaw artist Alan Syliboy and the Thundermakers, Acadian artist Arthur Comeau, and a number of other performers. Videomapping will light up the site making it an evening to remember!
