It’s time to party! We are celebrating our love of nature with a big all-ages Nature Challenge (scavenger hunt style) followed by a live musical performance on October 20. The talented and clever Little Miss Moffat will sing many of her great songs that teach about the plants and animals in our world. There will be prizes, cool local biodiversity info, activities and more.
Flying Squirrel Adventures is a new(ish) all-ages free nature program that meets monthly on the third Saturday of every month at the Kentville Ravine. Adults learn from knowledgeable naturalists while kids go on supervised age appropriate nature adventures led by experienced nature facilitators. Join us for a community picnic lunch afterward. This unique program is offered in partnership with the Town of Kentville, the Blomidon Naturalists Society, The Jijuktu'kwejk Watershed Alliance and Wild Spirits Forest School.
