Please join us for this free Lunchtime Learning session presented by Acadia Lifelong Learning.

There is a new battle brewing between electric cars and gas cars. A hundred years ago electric lost, but this time electric cars will win. Come and find out why it is likely that over the next decade almost everyone will switch to electric transportation and why when this happens we will drastically reduce global warming.

Presenter: Michael Shaw
Michael Shaw has two Science degrees from Acadia, an Education degree from Saint Mary's University and recently obtained a Master of Arts in Theology degree from Acadia. He has been a teacher for over 25 years in a variety of different contexts, including part-time at Acadia for 20 years. He is a dynamic speaker and for many years presented a lively and engaging Acadia Advantage presentation for potential Acadia students. He resides in New Minas, Nova Scotia.
