What if there was a medication that could reduce your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, dementia, and certain types of cancers, would you take it? What if the side effects of that medication improved your mood, lowered your blood pressure, controlled your body weight and reduced your pain? Is there a pill available that is this powerful? Not quite but exercise is capable of all that and more. Exercise is medicine!
