The sonorous sounds of drums, wood and metal being hit with verve and effervescence by talented young students trying to get a great grade in their percussion studies. Who doesn’t want to see that!
Performing music by Rob Power (Memorial U prof), Dinuk Wijeratne (Juno and ECMA winning composer), Brian Topp (Acadia grad), JS Bach (Juno, Grammy and ECMA winner…..or at least should have been!), Benjamin Finley (won nothing, but the piece is great) and more.
Bring the kids….drums are fun!!!!! Always a family friendly event.
