We are excited about this year’s Sustainability Fair at the Market on Wednesday, October 25th. At least three King/Hants politicians vying for our votes in the next federal election will participate in a Q&A focused on food, agriculture, and the environment which will be moderated by Edith Callaghan. As well as learning the positions of our local candidates, we are thrilled to have an electric car showcase with opportunities for folks to test drive an electric car. As we explore sustainability together, we will also be joined by numerous organizations committed to these issues so that we can build our knowledge with a view to fostering more informed individual and community-based decisions. As you exercise your mind, be sure to feed your body and soul as this event occurs alongside the Wednesday Market Supper with live music from the Hupman Brothers!
Schedule (4-7pm):
4-7pm Community Booths (see participating organizations below)
5:30 pm Moderated Q&A panel of Green, Liberal, and NDP candidates for Kings/Hants addressing their environmental and agriculture/food policies.
