I am putting on my 3rd annual Dinner and Auction at the Berwick Lions Hall on February 3rd, 2019 with a storm date on the 10th.
For 2019 I am working on cracking top 8-10 in the World Para-Athletics Rankings in the 100m, 400m and 800m in the T-53 Classification so I can represent Canada at both the Para Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru and the World Para-Athletics Championships in Dubai, U.A.E.
For the level I am currently competing in has a very high cost that involves equipment, training camps outside of Canada and qualifying track meets and road races outside of the Maritime Provinces. I will be competing in Dubai, Switzerland, Quebec City and Montreal for my qualifying track meets.
This past season I finished top 15 in the world in T53 100m (11th), 400m (12th and 800m (15th) and won three gold medals at the 2018 Canadian Track and Field Championships in T53 100m, 200m and 400m; followed by a silver medal in T53 800m.
To help fundraise for my upcoming season, equipment (gloves, tires and klister for wet weather), sports nutrition and athletic therapy costs.
