Music Business 101 is the first Media Makery workshop of a series of topic-specific workshops which will give attendees a deeper understanding of what music business is and how it works. The following topics will be discussed: Careers In The Music Industry, Intellectual Property, Licensing and Publishing, Revenue Streams, Grants, Album Art, Marketing and Promoting Music, and Band Agreements. This is an entry-level workshop suitable for anyone that is interested in gaining a general understanding of the music industry.
