The Annapolis Valley African Violet Society invites you to their annual Show Tea and Sale. This year the theme is "Violets and the Arts" and will showcase a wide variety of African violets not commonly available as well as many types of gesneriads such as episcias, sinningias, primulinas, streptocarpus, kohlerias, petrocosmeas and columneas. The popular sale table will have plants, leaves, pots and soil available for purchase. Our Show is judged under the rules of the African Violet Society of America by AVSA judges and is one of only two such shows in the Atlantic provinces. Check out our slideshow of last year's event in the video link above and be sure to join us at this year's show for a spectacular display of blooms and tips on how to grow your own show stopping plants. Doors open at 2 p.m.
