Join Catherine and Sarah for an evening of music and good company at one of Wolfville's coziest nooks.

Singer/songwriter Sarah McInnis, of Peterborough, Ontario, is a masterful storyteller. Her songs, though lyrically personal, offer an authentic voice to our universal story of the human experience. With warm vocals and guitar in hand, McInnis transforms every stage into an intimate venue.

In 2016, James McKenty produced her debut EP,
Farmer, Coal Miner. With its exploration of family, place, loss and what holds us together, the album illustrates McInnis's skill as she weaves seven thought-provoking tracks. She has shared the stage with notable Canadian musicians Mathias Kom (of the Burning Hell) and Craig Cardiff, and has worked locally on independent music projects in Peterborough, Ontario and Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where she currently resides.

Sarah McInnis's music is one of confessional candor. Her writing connects our large stories to her own pocket-sized vignettes, allowing each of us to expand our hearts alongside; her stories are our stories too.

Canadian singer-songwriter Catherine Kennedy will be sure to capture and take you on a storytelling journey with her musical compositions that “make you feel part of something bigger.” Her works directly stem from the surrounding environment, where she uses everyday experiences that normally go unnoticed.

In 2018 Catherine released her debut EP, Fifty-Fifty Chance. As is stated in its title, the album explores the feelings and thoughts of taking chances, as well as what happens when we don't. She has taken part in festivals such as FestForward and Shivering Songs and is excited to see what comes next.

Her music appears as images in which fiction and reality meet, meaning shifts and the past and present fuse. Having toured her music in countries such as; France, Germany, England and Belgium, Catherine now lives in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where she is currently studying music therapy.
