This is a Kitchen Party to celebrate the rich musical traditions found in the Maritimes. There are so many!
We have a full line-up of wildly talented musicians booked through the summer. Shows will start with a revolving house band featuring Kim Barlow and members of the Dearlies, Ida Red, and Acadia faculty Mark Adam and Nic D’Amato. We will play a set of traditional Maritime music reinterpreted, fun singalongs and familiar anthems. The guests will play a set, and then we’ll have a jam session, open to all.
This Saturday's Kitchen Party will feature Canning's own Chris Robison, a great and unique songwriter with a lot of wit and charm.
