Doors open at 7:15pm
Windsor Nova Scotia has a smokin' past! Once known as "The Athens of Nova Scotia", there are many amazing reasons why Windsor is also known as "The little town of big firsts".
Join Jerome the Gravekeeper and his ghostly friends as they lead you on this 2-hour, family-friendly historical production. Gather before the show at the Blockhouse (the end of Fort Edward St.).- the oldest such fortification in Canada
These tours are not intended to cause heart attacks. That would be bad for business. They're family-friendly, but let's not kid ourselves, it's a history lesson and not every kid is into history. Ages 10+ recommended.
Reduce your chills, please dress warmly. The walks happen rain, snow, or moonshine. An indoor location is available in case of horrendous weather, check Facebook the day of the walk for all updates.
If need be, bring: an umbrella, warm clothes, a flashlight, and BUG SPRAY.
This walk starts at the Blockhouse at the end of Fort Edward St. and goes to the waterfront and back covering a distance of about 1.4km. Because there is grass and a few steps along the way, we don't consider this walk to be too wheelchair-friendly.
The Windsor Ghost Walks are partial fundraisers for community theatre groups including Quick As A Wink.
A HUGE thank-you to Lucky Italiano and the Wine Grunt for sponsoring the Windsor Ghost Walks again this year.
